Meet Francine Apy

Francine's mission is to highlight modern adoption narratives, celebrate the positives, and share how adoption has transformed over the years. She's dedicated to encouraging adoption conversations in casual, conversational ways at home, in schools, and throughout our communities, spreading a message of faith, hope, and encouragement.
As a mother, blessed three times through adoption, an aunt to five adopted nieces and nephews, and an advocate, Francine harnesses the power of resilience and the science behind positive psychology to support and elevate the adoption community. Whether through writing, coaching, speaking, educational courses, podcasts, or her line of adoption-themed gifts and apparel, Francine is committed to fostering understanding and openness around adoption.
Francine has her BA degree in English Communications from Le Moyne College and was an HR Executive long before she turned entrepreneur. Francine and her husband cherish time spent with family and friends, traveling, exploring nature, and engaging in activities that nourish the soul and inspire a fuller, brighter life.

Dominica's Story: A Life of Courage, Hope, and Love
With piercing blue eyes and silver-blond hair, Dominica's warmth and empathy draw you in, but it's her resilience that truly captivates. Set against the backdrop of World War II, Dominica Myskiw Annese’s early years in war-torn Ukraine unravel a heart-wrenching story of survival. Dominica's story is an emotional journey through love, loss, and unimaginable strength—a testament to the power of the human spirit that rises above the darkest chapters of history.
A timely and inspiring read as history sadly repeats itself in Ukraine. Proceeds from the sale of this book will support the Center for Adoption Support and Education (C.A.S.E.)

"Francine is currently speaking in a variety of settings and she greatly appreciates the children’s faces when provided with the opportunity to talk at schools. Their curiosity leads to impactful discussions about a topic that touches so many lives. Her enthusiasm is visible as her connections multiply. I’m thrilled to witness her mission gain momentum as her word spreads for new, modern-day adoption conversations."

Speaking on podcasts has been one way I’ve used my voice to contribute to a balanced conversation around adoption. This approach helps share what adoption looks like today with a broader audience, not just those personally connected to adoption. By creating space for thoughtful dialogue, we can help others gain a clearer understanding of the experience of adoption today.
