I’m Francine Apy, an adoptive mom of three, a writer, speaker, and coach who believes in the power of encouragement, clarity, and faith to move us forward. SoulFilling reflects not just my story, but a calling: to help others walk their own adoption path with perspective, purpose, and an open heart.
From children’s books and reflective journals to group coaching and keynote talks, everything here is thoughtfully created to offer inspiration and encouragement, because we’ve each been invited to the story of adoption, and I’m here to help you write your best story possible.

Francine Annese Apy is the founder of SoulFilling, a certified coach, author, and speaker focused on sparking more balanced, honest, and heart-led conversations around adoption. With over 30 years of personal experience as an adoptive mom and a background in HR leadership, Francine brings warmth, wisdom, and practical tools to those navigating life with adoption in their story.
Her Catholic faith plays a steady role in her work—not as something to preach, but as a reminder that believing in something bigger than ourselves can bring strength, purpose, and peace to even the most complex journeys.
Through books, coaching, workshops, and storytelling, Francine helps people embrace their stories with resilience and compassion—making space for growth, connection, and grace along the way.
