Adoption is part of millions of family stories, including mine, and many of those stories are full of love, growth, and resilience. Today, over 5 million adoptees live in the U.S., and when you consider the birth families, adoptive families, and people who support them, the number of lives touched by adoption grows exponentially. And yet, these everyday stories, especially the ones where people are embracing the journey and doing well, aren’t often seen or shared.

 

That’s what I’m working to change.
 

I’m writing a book and creating a broader media project to bring forward real adoption stories, stories that reflect what’s going right today. Stories of connection. Stories of strength. Stories of families, individual's,  growing through life with the lens of adoption, supported by tools, resources, community, intention, and heart.
 

Maybe your story has had twists and turns. Maybe it’s still unfolding. Maybe it’s felt steady and clear. Whatever your experience, you’ve found ways to grow, reflect, and stay grounded in who you are. That matters.
